ZeNorm
About

Where intent becomes something agents can build.

ZeNorm exists because the bottleneck on AI-native engineering isn't the model — it's the gap between what a human wants and what an agent can act on. We're closing that gap with a single primitive: a living, codebase-grounded spec.

Every engineer using AI tools today has lived the same loop. You open Claude Code, paste in a feature idea, get back something that looks right. Then you spend the next hour explaining why it isn't. Tomorrow you start over in Cursor, and explain the same context all over again. Every session begins at zero.

The fix isn't a better prompt. The fix is to write the intent down, once, in a shape every agent can read, and treat it as the source of truth. That's what a spec is for — not the 40-page PRD nobody reads, but a tight, grounded artifact your agents pull every turn.

We built ZeNorm because we got tired of re-explaining context every session. Tired of agents finishing 70% of the work and stalling on the parts that were never written down. Tired of one tool knowing one thing and another tool knowing something different.

What we believe

Specs, not prompts
Prompts are disposable; they expire the moment the session ends. A spec is durable, versioned, and shared across every agent in your stack. We bet the next decade of software is built on shared specs, not on heroic prompt engineering.
Dialog, not draft-first
Agents that draft first and ask later trap you in correction loops. ZeNorm challenges you — progressively, in plain language — so the spec materializes from real decisions instead of being rewritten from a hallucinated first cut.
Grounded in your codebase
Specs are useless if they conflict with what already exists. ZeNorm reads your repo, surfaces context, and challenges intent against the code that's already shipping.
Open where it matters
The CLI is publicly installable and bundles the agent skills locally. Your agent loop stays portable; the value is the spec, not the pipe.

The team

Built by engineers tired of re-explaining context every session. We ship from the same agent loops we're trying to fix, every day. If you want to swap notes on what's working, we're easy to reach.
